Writing Portfolio
"If you don't have time to read, you don't have time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that." - Stephen King
Writing Portfolio
Writing, reading, and thinking are interconnected and support one another. A strong writing practice evolves out of reading widely, and by writing our reading skills improve; through this dialectic relationship we become better thinkers. As educators, we help our students build these important tools so they can fully, and competently, express themselves with agency in the world. However, we too, must continue to improve our skills to meet the challenges of 21st century learning. In this section are a selection of writings that reflect not only my strengths as a writer, but also a thinker, and my commitment to teacher research, scholarship, and ongoing learning.
